New Bats - What to do ?

In a couple of weeks Ill be looking at buying a new set of sticks.

Options are:

- Buy retail

- Buy a set of heads and have Tomson do his magic

- Buy Lucasto23's mates Titleist 710's.


If I go the 1st or 2nd option, what is the multiple opinions on brands ? (Like them to be cavity back, nothing chunky in style or build and steel shafts)

Or just stay with the Titty 735's ?

you haven't told us what the 735's are doing wrong for you? Do you want more or less forgiveness, higher or lower ballflight etc....

So far we have:

Mizuno's

AP1's

Lucasto's Mates

Woodies

The 735's will most probably stay as a back up set / may live in Brisbane to save on lugging them down there / or ill sell them.

Ball flight is ok and so is forgiveness, did some checking of the AP1's, but as always anything that makes it easier to hit with good flight never goes astray. (As long as they are not BUTT ugly)

I reckon Lucas's mates crubs are a bargain at $700 delivered by Lucas to my place...and they are the right length for me as well ;-)

AP2s are very straight. I can't believe how straight they are! I don't hit them as far as my cavities ,but way straighter!

What bit do you struggle with PeteyD? Henno has said the same thing, the AP2s are very straight. It is actually a challenge to hit a slice or a draw with them. I don't know why but I love them for it. And they are way more forgiving than I ever thought they would be.
