Segway Golf

I got to ride on one the other day at Scitech in Perth. My wife had no issues using it, so they can't be that hard to use. Great fun!

We did a segway tour around Christchurch NZ last year. Great way to get around. Covered about 13k's in 2hours or so.
Control is all about balance - if you can ski or ride a push bike you will pick it up in 5 - 10 minutes.
Cost is about $10K for the base model, so a golf version with the bigger wheels etc would be more like $12k.

If you get a chance to try them grab it, they are a ball.

I'd definitely have one. I don't give a fuchs if it is ghey. It would be especially good if you were playing with sNUFalufagus. You'd be too high up to hear him and too fast for him to catch. :)

First you could get some nice rims...

...then add an iPod dock which runs from the battery (perfect for that game with Nuffie....or me!). I thought about a couple of speakers but doof doof on the course would probably be frowned upon !!!

How does something like this build up your legs for golf? When it breaks down and it has to be pushed back to the car?

haha, well the used one I was looking at on eBay sold for $2300, so I called Segway in QLD to ask what they are brand new...
