The Mrs gave him a severe talking to as it was on her 40th birthday and there was no way I should be playing.

I got home and discussed it with her and guess what? As it is in the morning - I can play and we'll do her birthday thing in the afternoon.

Now that is a wonderful woman!

Hartfield winter cup is the week after pennants finishes then all clubs will have their Club Championships beginning the next week. Then the "tournament season" begins with lots of club opens and "cups" etc.

That is a very busy time of the year for club golf.

JC, you'll be gunning for Hartfield Div 2 and me hopefully in Div 4 or 5 (preferably Div 4). Have not played Mandurah CC before so am very keen as its been on the to-do list for ages. But likewise, prob be best in late July/early Aug after pennants finishes.

Good point JC, I know a HR manager from one of my old jobs that plays ladies pennants for Mandurah - you wouldn't want to swear in front of her or you could definitelly 'be fired' from the course's premises.
