Guys

I've installed an ebay widget, so you can link to your own or other ebay items.

Just surround the item number by ebay tags.


item number
The search terms only need to be used if you want similar stuff to the original ebay auction shown, once the item is removed by ebay after 120 days. If you don't care, don't put anything in there.

Here's an example.

The main issue is that it only displays in US currency, since they are the Ebay US is the only site to have the ToGo widget. If you click to go to the ebay page, you'll probably see AU$ anyway if you are logged in.

Let me know if Aus ebay gets the ToGo thing too. It is in beta mode in the US, I think, so it may roll out to other sites in the future.

Good one, Andy. they have a similar thing on another site i frequent that uses SMF software. ebay tag, then item number, then closing ebay tag. Works on all ebay sites though.

Let me know if it does or doesn't work? I wonder if they have an Oz version yet.

I haven't seen it get used here really, but I don't frequent the Equip Me or Pro Shop forums either.

Yes, but unfortunately it is the future search term that needs to be entered in the pop up and not the ebay item number. The button is in the advanced posting area.
