To clarify that IS a comp game at 8:15am, the Sunday's event.

And it's a course that tends to rate tougher than par, good chance to have a good score for the handicap.

I was the one to book you guys in initially, so both of you were originally accompanying me :wink:

Still regretting I cant make this one, the course is always great up there.

I played up at Sun City before I got a real handicap and they didn't give a flying frog that I didn't have a cap, just paid for my round. Was with a member but doubt that makes too much difference

This should be do-able, proshop said that players could elect to play socially if they wished.

Zeus, on Sat can I drop you in Daz's sleeping bag? Coz if you could pass it onto him Sunday, that would be great.

Coz I've been meaning to get that back to him since he accidently left it in my car after Ozgolf champs.

Weather was not to bad intermitant light rain.....the cold was a bit of a killer....

Felt like I played shit lots of scambling from the rough...

If i had have played like today at HP I would have been in the hundreds....

The course is long and had to make a lot of up and downs......

Conditioning of the course was disappointing for $50.

Zeus hit the ball ok if the tee but recovered well enough.
Daz scored big on the first three holes to get him his high score.
I did my my consecutive doubles and triples in the last four holes.

We all had difficultly with the slowness of the frees.

Sounds like it was a tough day at the office but the scores were good given the conditions, it appears Zeus/Daz played particularly well with 86's off the bat.

Also a shame the course wasn't in the best nick. In the summer I've always found it great and the greens always have good medium-ish speed.

Did you guys get much run on the fairways yesterday with the drives? Curious to know this coz during the summer months you get heaps all the time.

Did it play a bit like a winter - Kwinana in that the conditions made it feel heaps longer than usual? I'd imagine Sun City being a lot tougher yesterday. I bet it rated at least 73 - Right?

It was Fun !!!, weather was ok, not too wet at all, umbrella only went up once, even the sun came out towards the end. Felt like everyone played well but just didn't score. Maybe next time ........
