I'll know more mid next week after more scans and a few 'roid injections but two weeks is probably a bit much to ask as far as recovery goes. I'm thinking it'll be more like 6 weeks or so (which is a lot better than the 4-6 months I was staring down before this afternoon's altra sound and x-ray).

I'll know more mid next week after more scans and a few 'roid injections but two weeks is probably a bit much to ask as far as recovery goes. I'm thinking it'll be more like 6 weeks or so (which is a lot better than the 4-6 months I was staring down before this afternoon's altra sound and x-ray).

I'm out. I turned up for my ultra-sound guided cortisone injection this morning and luckily for me the guy doing the procedure asked if I minded him doing another quick scan as he "didn't trust other people's work". Good thing he did, as after about two seconds of poking around with the ultrasound he told me I needed an x-ray. Five minutes later and it's clear to all that the shoulder (among other things) is fractured. So I now have to wait for the bone to heal before I even attempt rehab on the minced muscles and tendons. Yay me.

I turned up for my ultra-sound guided cortisone injection this morning and luckily for me the guy doing the procedure asked if I minded him doing another quick scan as he "didn't trust other people's work". Good thing he did, as after about two seconds of poking around with the ultrasound he told me I needed an x-ray. Five minutes later and it's clear to all that the shoulder (among other things) is fractured. So I now have to wait for the bone to heal before I even attempt rehab on the minced muscles and tendons. Yay me.

Chopped it around. A 9 on the 2nd with 2 lost balls, a 6 on the 4th and a 7 on the 5th and it was pretty much all over in terms of a good score. Additional lost balls on 11 & 12.
92/78 with birdies on 7 and 15.

Good to finally have a hit with Oxy. Although he's a Collingwood supporter, he's no oxy-moron!

I started with a massive slice into the lake and made double on the first then backed it up with a quad on 2 with a socket and a bladed wedge.... ozgolf curse and all that. I don't disagree with you. When the new handicap system came in I went from 23 out to 27 and then came back in to 25 pretty quickly. Since then I haven't played too much because of the kids etc so I haven't had a chance to drop it. With a couple more rounds under my belt and the fact that I have been putting awesomely :wink: when I do play (35/36 putts per round) it should go down pretty quickly. Until such time I remain a burglar.
