Not that flash with computers. This morning for some strange reason the font/pixelation on the computer looked different. I tried to fix it by increasing the resolution, and now whenever I try to boot the system normally, the monitor comes up with an "out of range" logo, that then moves from corner to corner of the screen.

At the moment I'm stuck with opening in "safe mode" and the resolution etc is rubbish.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Yes, I have switched the computer off and on! ;-)

I have tried hitting F8 etc. Times like this, I wish I was a geek.

Reduce the resolution. You told your graphics card to output a resolution that your monitor can't handle. Change it back (safe mode might be the way, not sure.)

That's a bugger when that happens, do you have access to a pc with a state of the art Video card.
If so you can connect the monitor up to that and reduce the resolution.

If not, you may have to uninstall the video card driver in safe mode and reinstall it
