Can't seem to get excited about it, and the Burswood Dome is a toilet

Saw them just after they started changing from Metallica to Alternativica.

Saw Fade to Black live, no need to see them again :D

I have seen them in Manchester (UK) on the Load tour and in Brissie on their last visit and although I am a fan that will do me. I think I may reached the age where I find it difficult to put up with tens of thousands of religous fans all crammed in together at a concert.

I think it was the Snake album tour I saw them on. Only band I would definately go and see is Maiden. Although the Slayer Megadeth double bill was tempting.

Nah mate..

Anything after "The Black Album" which admittedly is about 19 years ago I'm not a huge fan of.

That's a shame.

I really think Death Magnetic is some of their best work.

Actually was listening to this last night for the 1st time while on a ride,

It is a step back to their early thrash stuff, didn't get to hear the whole album but from the 1st few tracks I like it

I agree with MT that after the Black album there wasnt anything good but then Death Magnetic revived it all for me. Its pretty good stuff. Besides, Ive never seen them live so Im curious. =)

Seems I'll have to give it a listen.

I saw them in 92 (?) when they were at the peak of their powers, with the snake pit stage where their was a small mosh area surrounded by the stage.

Awesome then, probably still awesome live now but still can't get the motivation to go. Spandau Ballet has damaged my heavy metal mojo

I'll bring my Robbie Williams CD to listen to over in your office for the next two days.
that will go with the Pink shirt you'll be wearing
