Include me in, assuming they have a Sunday comp (I think they do).

Pup, if you call, ask them about their Saturday comps as well. I'm sure I've seen visitors appear in the results in the paper, but that doesn't always mean the Saturday comp is an open event.

Sorry guys, take me out. Going to the football (NRL) Sunday afternoon & will be paddling in the morning. Maybe next time.

Damn Grunt, you need to have another game sometime!

I'll give them a ring tomorrow Jim, see if they do have a comp sunday (if they don't well I ain't playing). I will ask about saturdays as well, but I am unavailable that day unfortunately.

I gave Lynwood a ring and booked a group of 4 for 11:36 for this Sunday. Cost will be 40 dollars and 20 bucks for me.

Single Stableford is the comp.

I've put me and Jim down, need 2 more to fill out the group.

Does $40 give you a cart? Seems a bit steep for a relatively new course that would not be in tip top shape? Or am I just being a tight arse.

See the second half of your sentence for the answer.

Thanks Pup. I'll be there.

$40?!

Jesus H Christ.

So Scottt, are you and I are in agreement?

F**king oath.

Bonnie Doon and St Mick's only charge $40 or $50 for comp, don't they?

Penrith, Windsor and Ashlar are all about $20 for visitors. I can't see a huge future in Lynwood charging $40 once people have checked it out once or twice and the novelty wears off. Unless it's remarkable, which I haven't been hearing from mates who've played it.

I think Bonnie Doon is now $55 and St Micks is $45.

Yeah 40 bucks is steep, especially after being told that they have cheap membership and social play..

Looks like we are a group of 2 Jim.

See you at around about 11, probably at the driving range.

Pup and I played Lynwood today, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, while at the same time recording hard-earned 33 point scores each. I say hard-earned because I hit the ball very well, but only have 33 to show for it. Lynwood is a difficult course. A real test of your game.

There is a Lynwood thread in the Courses section, which I will bump up with some comments later. In this thread though, it is relevant to say that we were charged 35 bucks for our round, and imo, it was value for money.

Not many funny things happened during the round. We were too busy working hard for our pars.
