Actually just got home from the golf club and drinking some beers. Com'on guys the Sharks are a classy side and it was only 26-12, that's only a 14 point margin.

But a 46 point margin LOL, against Melbourne, geez they don't play this game down there fellas.

Anyhow can we get a moderator in here to clear out this Bronco's riffraff. :)

Not at all - although i think it's always good to see them do well. This just doesn't happen under Smith though - he has to go.

Having said that - they have a stellar record against the Pony's!

I used to follow Norths - went to school across the road from North Sydney Oval and regularly went to games. Probably first supported the Tigers in the Scotty Gale / Hemsley / Jack / Pearce / Roach era, but that was early in the piece. Norths "departure" from the game was a tragedy. They sacked Norths in favour on Manly - a club with no junior ranks, poor facilities, and very limited radius considering they are on the coast.

Since SuperLeague i find it hard to follow any teams in this comp - Murdoch still runs it, it's not a game 'for the fans' as they say, and the comp is heavily biased towards the "rich" clubs.

Perhaps i'm a traditionalist, but i think the game was far better back then. The fact the game was exposed to it at all was a disgrace.

And i read the other day that Ribot is still sitting out there, confident a revitalised comp is still the way to go. He thinks that the NRL should not sell the TV rights for under $100 mill - because that's the money the AFL gets. Currently they get about $30 mill.

Like comparing apples and banana's - they're both fruits, but that's where the similarities end. That guy is a farnarkling moron. AFL has a much wider audience than league, and has been marketed much better.

don't know what wacky weed you been smoking this morning Fishfinger.. but you're waaaaaaaaaaay off the mark here.

Rugby league is much more of a global game than AFL ever will be.

That's fine mate - but let me know when a League game gets a crowd bigger than 30 000 - anywhere in the world ;)

Geez - even the 'Tahs can achieve that

you don't wanna go there mate .. .trust me ... at least we have more to chose from than Ireland for an international ... and even then, you guys have to play with a round ball  :P

i think you'll find 30,000 isn't that far off the mark for a league game these days .... the Broncos get that + 15 more, even when they play the bloody Bulldogs :P

Up here Fishman they give tickets away, to try, I say TRY to get the number's up, then when the Bronco's score and every throws there arms in the air.....thats when they do the count as well  they count the hands   2nd try and another count  and so on and so on until they get to somewhere near 30,000 :D

The numbers are usually down if the Pony's turn up and they don't score  :D

The Lions on the other hand have a waiting list up until 2007
