I have been experimenting with a number of different types of clubs of late and have been able to use some of my mates sticks. While I don't consider myself a 'player', i have really enjoyed the feel that the better clubs provide.

I am looking for something under $500 in at least VGC. Would prefer a regular shaft. If you have something that you are looking to offload, let me know. I am keen to see what is out there! I do like the Callaway forged and the Taylor Made Tour Preferred as a guide.

would most certainly prefer a cavity. They still need to be a little forgiving.

I currently have a set of the Callaway X-Tours! Would prefer a thinner top line.

It's easy to forget about the x tours when the 2 x forged models were so much nicer.

Look at the Hogan clubs. Older style but good forgings, smaller heads and good pricing.

mizuno MP 37 2 iron to pw stiff dynamic gold
Wishon 555M forged 3 to pw dynamic gold stiff.
Both sets are blades in very good used condition. You will not find a club that feels sweeter than the Mizunos.

Have a look at the On course shops - they have some Ben Hogans Apex and Apex Plus ( Ithink) 3- w for $399 brand new and made to measure on the front page of their catalogue - good deal I think.

Great irons. Very forgiving. I had a set of these and sold 'em. Stupidest thing I ever did was deciding to support those red and white wankers.
