Being the parent of a three year old with a second child on the way it seems like talking about golf is going to have to suffice until I get a chance to play more regularly.

If I may be so bold as to answer for Courty - both of us are Saints Boys (Seniors of 1991) and yes we have heard all the jokes about going to an all boys school run by a brotherhood that wears nighties for a uniform. The less said about the brother who was principal during the majority of our time at Saints the better. Needless to say he is no longer in the brotherhood.

On a serious note - I am on the Saints old boys committee (got roped in by Hutchy) and we are trying to get more organised to assist with reunions and the like. If anyone has any suggestions then feel free to drop me a line.

Too true - I've been told people take advantage of my good nature. But being of Italian heritage I do know the meaning of Vendetta and my wife thinks I have a hidden vengeful streak.

For Julie's benefit - I actually went against the usual Saints boy tradition of pairing up with a St. Monicas girl, my better-half is from Goondiwindi.

I went to Saint Augustines from Grade 5 to 12 and finished in 1978 (a fine vintage).

My oldest son went there and finished 2 years ago and I have another son there now in grade 12.

My wife went to Monicas as well (that's where all the dragons came from) but I think may have been expelled. My daughter is now there.

Good to hear from you. Unfortunately my game is erratic at the moment but I'm hoping to get back into practising and playing more regularly so that I can try and recapture some past form. Hopefully the recalc of my handicap tomorrow will be kind and it will give me an edge in trying to take some money off Courty next time I get to have a hit with him. :)
