I can't believe how long the Aussies are  GO AUSSIES!!! Allenby is smashing them this year but he is having a poor year compared to recent seasons.

What if Hend can get over Kuehne...man that would be sweet :)

Scott Hend 309.8
Geoff Ogilvy 303.4
John Daly 302.9
Davis Love III 301.9
Chris Couch 300.9

Vijay Singh 298.4
Chris Smith 298.0
Robert Allenby 297.9

Jaster, i know it may sound hard to believe .... but a mate of mine ( a fellow member at Nudgee G.C) said he was playing the ninth at the North course when he noticed Scott Hend on the first tee with a few mates.

Apparently he hit his driver over the green and the ball ended up somewhere on the south course

The guy that Eag's and i have lessons with (Chris Chaplain) tells of stories of him hitting balls over the fence at the back of the driving range at Nudgee G.C. Next time he's in town i'm going to watch him 8)

that boy is plenty long :!:

If you have hit balls at Nudgee's range, you would understand just how far that is :smt103

Is Hend a big bloke ? I just can't picture him, the US TV coverage never shows an international player unless they're leading.

Are these numbers in yard or meters?

yards andy...

the European PGA plays in mtrs, and the USPGA plays in yards...

I understand that those distance are the longest drives they've had on "DESIGNATED" holes...so pretty sure most have driven longer than what's listed...

Dang......Must be something in the water down here.....

They measure in Yards, and only on two holes, reunning in oposite directions. They also measure no matter where the ball ends up, be it in a bunker, water, fw or rough.....They also try to measure on 2 par 5's so most guys are hitting driver......
