I should be there at 4.15. Zeus should be around 4pm. Nuffie is coming from Bibra Lake - most likely 4.40.

I didn't realise your giant feet were as big as mine.

adlo

Not quite as wide, but you would fit my giant shoes. Remember for future reference.

Johnny Canuck

The lack of wideness would hurt, but nothing I couldn't handle, I'm not Yoss.

Any scores?

Yossarian

No it was just a chop around, nuffie made a few birds, but also a few doubles i think. Everyone played some holes well and some not so well. Id made some pretty funny calls.

Sounds like fun. I would have been all over it if I knew the day before :'(

Yoss, Nuffie, Zeus, Veefore and myself playing as a 5 on the back 9. We didn't do any scores.
Personally. I shot a 40. A couple of errant tees and couple of missed putts had kept me from a 38. I did have a slam dunk from 40m out which helped for a birdie on the last (if you don't count the lost ball).

Nuffie chopped it the first four holes with an average of double bogey on each. Veefore and myself gave him some sage advice and he finished with 2 pars and 3 birdies consecutively. Should have kept my mouth shut. I reckon he will be hot down south.

Zeus has been playing poorly since our trip to Sydney. He thought he lost his Cameron divot tool there. I had picked it up with his Vision towel there and returned it to him yesterday and he said he felt better and started playing some good golf. I think he would have come in at 39.

Yoss sparked off the tee a couple of times but seemed to have lost his draw - so he had some difficulty because of where he put his tee shot. He is hitting the ball longer - as he is starting to make better contact. On the 2nd par three, his 6 iron went 20m longer than mine on a high fade. He needs to work on his short game a lot more. That should improve his impact across the rest of his game. I think he might have been 46 or 47.

Veefore drove the ball beautifully. Although not much longer than anyone else, his tee shots were pured consistently. Good to see him moving with a little more flexibility. He is a very good putter but found the greens a little slow. I expect he would have had a 38 or 39 on the round.

Cheers for the update id. Sounds like you and Veefore should have waited until April to dispense the wisdom!

I wonder if Nuffie will be the JC of 2010? He already has the first WA Ozgolf major under his belt!

I trust there were high fives after the slam dunk??

You can't high five if the dunk was preceded with an 'oops' because it was skulled.

You can't high five if the dunk was preceded with an 'oops' because it was skilled.

That was a real treat to actually out drive everyone a couple of times. I don't normally get to do that. Thanks fellas. ;)

I thought is was a perfectly misjudged shot. :)
