I've got a TM 200 steel with a stiff by-you shaft that would work. You can use it until you get bored with it and then give it back.

Yep the Cobra Pro S9.1 is a small head. My old man asked what the @##$ is was I hit off the tee - thought it was a hybrid. It's also deep faced.
TM R9? L4G has one. I hit Ned's at Brooky - he used my Cobra and it was very nice. The Cobra sounds better...like a Titleist driver - very solid.

16* Baffler Pro = 220m = no 3 wood off the deck.

Just get one with a long flat sole...

The ones without a hosel are usually more forgiving.

You might run into trouble here in that forgiveness and ease of hitting usually = gets the ball up easily and you said you hit an R9 too high already.

Cobra F Speed 2008?

I have hit most fairways over the past few years.

Be it Ping G10, Taylor V STeel, Taylor Burner, Mizuno MP001, Titleists of all variants.

The F Speed bar none with the YS Shaft really floats my boat. Either off the tee or from the fairway, I've actually kept it in play.

I hit all the others like busted arseholes.

Isn't the middle the same size on all 3 woods ?

Yeah, two is too many I agree, but fairway woods (despite their namesake) are just no good from the fairway. The baffler pros are god's clubs in lower lofts. I'd love to give a 16-degree a spank.

I have a 13* Cobra S9.1 Pro and it is very long off the tee. I hit it 15-20m further than my Titleist 909F2 13.5*, mainly because it spins less. I find it easy to hit off the deck, but I hit the ball pretty high. I hit a high cut from 237m to 3ft tonight - the Titleist was 10m short of the green. I hit the Cobra so straight and long that I haven't been using the driver much lately.

oldie, but goodie.... I've had both 906F2 & 906F4 and find them a doddle to hit off the deck. I've actually given up using a tee with them on the tee box. I didn't mind the VSteels I've had and tried either, but I think the Titty has a slightly easier to hit sole shape and feels more solid. YMMV of course....
