Thanks for the game guys, I had 82/75, Daves 88/74, lucky 82/77 & Hux is still going. We left him after it looked like he was trying to mount a swamp hen in one of his hazard foray's. That hen had a nice set of pins though. Good shooting by Dave until some di#k in our group keep going on about his good score and how his swing looked different and how he had such a smooth putting stroke.......etc, etc. Thanks lucky, for the ladies tee lay up demo on the 18th. Good day out, cheers.

Pacific played tough today. Not sure about the scores but I believe 5 DQ's out of the 8.

Daves and I took the bet off Ferrins and Lucky that is all he is sour about :-) we had then 5 down on the first nine but the clincher was when they mounted a charge on the 3rd with Phil throwing a beaut shot in to 50cm then Dave following up with one at about 1m. Both birdies - but Dave with a shot...charge faltered badly. I think my sole contribution on that nine was on the 1st with a 6 net 4.

I'm with Henno I don't like the 11th. Nasty legs eleven there for me to ruin my score after only 2 holes.

DQ for me... Didn't actually find it that tough. I was only 4 over handicap for the holes i finished out (16). I was playing a bit of back and forwards on one of the par 3's and couldn't be bothered going on in the spirit of not holding up the field I picked my ball up. Lost my tee shot in the right rough/treeline on 18 and didn't play that hole out either.

I took my 3w to find the fairway:) For the record it easily made it past the ladies tee ( by about 5m)

Thanks Lucky for organising the day, and thanks to Hux, Lucky and Ferrins for the 1st class company on my first trip around Pacific. Jeez the rough is tough! that seems to be the story for most of the back tee courses I played lately!:shock: You would think the CCR is going to be 74/75 today>

Ferrins and Lucky tried very hard to pull back our lead in the match play (5 down with 6 to play, they finally lost 2 & 1), but ran out of holes!.8)

I started like a house on fire, was only 1 over through 14, and then got sloppy on 15th and paided the penalty with a double.:evil:

Has the 16th been changed recently? It looks very different on GE. Another double after drowning my second, but I wasn't alone there!:roll:

They had the Tee box pulled way back on the 7th, 210m though it is is shown as only 185m on the card!
