Nice one. I was thinking it would be on Foxtel. Should have realised it was a WGC event.

Nice choke down the stretch from Allenby

Finishing with 4 straight bogeys would have to leave a bad taste in his mouth i'll bet

Can anyone shed light on how Alistair Presnell, a Nationwide player, qualified for the CA Championship?

Has anyone else noticed that this isn't quite live. Scores seemed to update on the pgatour website at least a few minutes before you saw it happen on the telecast.

He finished 2nd on the Australasian PGA Tour order of merit.

Nos 1 & 2 from the South African, Asian & Japan tours also get starts

Don't worry, he'll have an excuse! and it won't have been his fault

I feel sorry for his caddy, as he will more than likely bare the brunt.

Jeez, the Europeans are trouncing the Yanks in the CA!. Only 6 US players in the top 20.

Exactly - Ernie's putting isn't holding up to the pressure either..

Looks like Swartzel is the pick for the win...

I wonder who is helping Ernie with putting, must be an eye issue. Some of his putts were so far off the correct line, it has to be miss reads.

It looked like he was not releasing the putterhead. Just blocking everything.

a HIO in the 2nd round also.

He has had a HIO, an Eagle on a 4 and an eagle on a 5. Not done too often on the tour apparently.

The other Sth African hit one right off the tee, this stupid woman must of thought she was at a ball game and has basically tried to dive on the ball before her partner pushed her away !

Impressive finish from Presnell.

Hopefully that entitles him to a few starts in a few other tournaments.

Always good to see the young guns shine.

Was that a new putter for Ernie? He had been using an Odyssey blade prototype specially made for him, but it looked like a #5 shaped head today?

It was really great watching ernie getting back into the winners circle, i hope he can find something with the putter this year and give himself a few more oppurtunities where he feels like he can win!!!

Ernie's putting stats were very good 25, 27, 29, 26 for the week. That is a big improvement on what he has done of late. 8-)
