fellas fellas I have just had 3 crappy rounds in a row - hmmmm will my fourth one be another crappy round or will it be the start of a great matchplay torunament!!!

Hmmmm so should I leave the driver at home and just use 3 wood or try and demoralise Griz with some big drives (straight ones hopefully)

J

You'll do this with your 3 wood

Are you saying that nudgee often cheats?
Will griz be checking nudgee's driver shaft length and COR?
Is nudgee known to use the foot wedge or "forget" shots?

Well done, nudgee.
With Griz on only 26 points, you must have really psyched him out from the start.

BTW, who was giving who shots?

Um Dion....I just checked your golflink results and your last four outings were playing to 10, 10, 11 and 14 off 6 and 7 handicaps.
Maybe 33 points will be plenty from the big spanish nancy boy.

Right, Mr 15,18,13,11,21 over par... What do you claim as a handicap then?

Gee guys, you aren't even in the same half of the draw.
Maybe you should save your sledging for your opponents.

You beat me to it Andy. I was about to tell g13 to save his sledging energies for his actual opponent. Last thing he wants is to peak to early!

Peak?!?

percentages are the best conclusion.
Last four outings:

I think my numbers have you covered. 8)

Yep, for the last 4 rounds, you mount quite a convincing argument. For grins, I went back through the last 10 rounds versus par and you are 57 over NETT. I am 39 over. Your number does have mine covered.... only because it's so much bigger! :P

more numbers...
69 - +1,+5,+1,EV,+14,+2,+7,+6,+17,+4 = 57
BV - EV,+3,+3,+5,EV,-1,+7,+5,+13,+4 = 39

Not too concerned with my stableford total points - got 20 in the front nine and I think that psyched Griz out - that was my strategy, start strong and demoralise the opposition early. I kinda didnt really give two hoots about the last 3 holes  Not much sledging went on.

I gave Griz two shots as he is off 11.

Dion looking forward to our match - I think we can safely assume that it wont be at Brooky or Nudgee.

Jarro, wrt Tezza's 510 TP Tour you can safely assume that it will remain in the bag for a while - he was slapping it around at spots he has never been before. Cut the corner no sweat on the 17th, nearly reached the water on the 12th par 5 off the tee. And this was without finding the sweet spot!!!. It will be scary once he tunes it in

Onewood as usual was a freaking machine - drove the ball like a champ straight and long but his putter deserted him.

LOL. No way do I want to play you at Nudgee big fella! How about Corinda??  By the same token, I'd probably have an advantage around Brooky too, even though I can't break 80 there... My dog is trained to race out and steal your ball from the 18th fairway, assuming we make it that far.

No rush, but looking forward to a game sometime soon with you. Maybe Indro/McLeod/Gailes/Oxley etc. I don't mind.

BV I am sure we can line a game at a good venue - Mcleod sounds like a good option, in the not too distant future.

BTW G69 I took your ex 980 3 wood and god damn bombed it 4 times - one shot on the short par 4 15th (300m long hole) I bombed it around 280m, had a 20m chip!!!

BrisVegas

Lets summarise...you average round is 3.9 over your handicap that is 6. That makes it 165%.

Mine is 5.7 over my handicap which averages to 10...thats 157 %

I win again. 8)
Perhaps in your mind.... Percentages are meaningless in matchplay. In real terms, you are gonna lose by 1.8 shots a round to me every time, even after I give you 4 shots. Get over it. Focus on roc, you're wasting your time on me.

once again nothing in golflinks updating my handicap from Nudgee

So I rang them this morning and they had me down as NCR  he then found my card and said we must have missed it  now they have to send my card to logan for logan to update [nett 68 ccr 70] so I lose .4 which takes me back to 5.3 8) but what do I play off today :?
