Anybody have recent experience with french Marques?

Hi Guys,

Looking at a new bus for the wife and Peugeot and Renault have a couple of models that are ticking the boxes in terms of size, load carrying etc.

Has anyone got experience with these brands in recent times in terms of reliability, servicing costs etc?

My sister has a 206. Really nice car that hasn't missed a beat.
Not sure about service costs though.

I had a 206 GTi. Had a tendance to act "french" a fair bit.

("french" was a dealer term for random things going wrong regularly and then all of a sudden fixing itself).
