Thinking this would be a good date for the next hit

EOI your attendance, more than likely a 1.00 tee off at the back of the field

Might have to be a bit flexible due to the busy nature of the course, but will confirm a few weeks out

So far, we have

Chris32
Hamo84
Flavzz
oobsadd2 - maybe
Daggs (at this stage)
Wazza - can't make it
mardo10
Funky_Cliff
timinsa - maybe
jasonb

Ok booked for 3 tee times from 1.00 onwards - names in bold are confirmed starters

For those that want to have a warm up the driving range they have is quite good

I'll try and be there for 12.15

Hamo84

Hamo84

Chris32

Daylight savings ends on the 4th of April, If we hit off at 1 going by past rounds there we'd finish around 6ish, so should still be light

Would you be more inclined to play social swimthroughs or open day comps.
Bear in mind at open days theyll split us in grades but at any of the opens i can get us in groups in the relevant grades (it not what but who...)

Thanks for the wrap in your blog Tony lol. The side fence was fine after all. Just thought I would make sure ;)

As for the conditions Daggs, it rained solidly for the front 9 then stopped for most of the back nine. Wasn't windy or cold and was relatively nice besides all the umbrella handling and trying to keep grips dry etc. Personally I played badly on front nine but salvaged some form on the back nine for an enjoyable day.

Hamo where were u mate? Did the rain scare u away?

Chris32
29th March 2010, 09:15 AM
Cheers all for the top day, apart from a bit of drizzle it was a good day! Great to meet a few more new faces, with any luck we can get to double figures in attendance next time.

I ended up playing ok considering it was my first hit for 5 odd weeks, and really left a round in the 70's out there with a few lazt shots coming in. First time out with the FT-9 and I was impressed with that.

In Hamo's defence I did get a PM on Saturday to say that he couldn't attend, but I only have internet at work so I didn't get it on time

timinsa
29th March 2010, 07:41 PM
