Phone app identifies dodgy neighbours
Application sends databases to phones
"Identifies nasty neighbourhoods"
"Real estate agents worst nightmare"
A NEW phone application in the UK which tells users how many of their neighbours have an anti-social behaviour disorder (ASBO) is to become a real estate agent’s worst nightmare.
The application, called Asborometer, lifts information about thugs and nuisances from government databases before sending it to mobile phones, The Sun reports. (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2859770/Thug-towns-revealed-by-asbo-app-for-iPhone-and-Googles-Android-system.html)
It has been dubbed "the estate agent's worst nightmare" as it can tip off would-be house buyers about nasty neighbourhoods.
The Asborometer, based on postcodes, is free to download and works on the iPhone and Google's Android system.
Creator Jeff Gilfelt, 31, said: "Although its name is fun, it has a serious message."
