Ping new model?

Hello all,

Starting golf again recently after a long injury break and I am loving being back. I am keen to buy a new set of irons and have always had a soft spot for pings, my last set was the I3's (over size) which I loved. However, the new G or I15's just don't do it for me but knowing golf club companies I am guessing a new model of irons is in the pipeline.

My question is does anyone know when ping might be releasing them (no use asking "Mr Ping") or is there a website that "flags" new models coming out.

Hi (and welcome 8)),

I don't think this time of year is the "iron" release time. Feb is when new drivers come out.

I don't think there will be anything new from Ping until much later in the year, if at all.

Apparently the gossip is that Ping will be releasing a forged iron for the Japan only market next week and a replacement for the S57's (and probably the Rapture V2's) later in the year, around August. And welcome.
