It was a crushing defeat in honesty.

From my shoes:
1 down after the 13th that i had to win with a bird
1 down after the 14th that i've just messed up after a great tee shot, and had a good chance to win.

so me thinks - switch on as i've only got 1 shot left

15th, both hit good drives.
Lucky hits short iron ugly through the green
I pop mine safe on the green, prob 20 feet (hoping for a 2 par square at worst, possible win depending on how tough Lucky's up and down is.)
Lucky wanders over and chips in, kpac 2 down, and shattered.

16th index 1 but no shots given,
both hit good drives, i gave it a fair whack in frustration.
Lucky hits long iron ugly right of the green side trap.
I pop mine on fringe just in front of the green, long way from cup, but out of trouble.
Lucky flubs chip into bunker, my eyes light up,
My putt from fringe comes up short by 8 foot,
Lucky in the bunker, with twig resting behind his ball, catches it pretty good, it's out and i immediately think it's rolling 10foot past, only for it to hit the flag and drop.
I miss the 8 footer.
Curses

In two holes the game changed dramatically. I had a really slow start to the round, and it's come back to bite me. I needed to be infront by the 14th, and wasn't. And i trailed for 14 of the 16 holes i think, so never really deserved to get back.

It was an interesting variety of golf that i produced, rarely pretty, but even so i thought i may have had a chance.

Lucky too good.
