Will there be a room hire fee again this year? If so, may I suggest that you make everyone pre-pay that fee into a bank account so you don't get ripped off like last year?

not really, its pretty hard to get it wrong.

get on bike

get off bike

the roads are closed etc, so you hardly need to know much ettiquette or anything, and as a cyclist on/off for the past 10 years I find all the wankers out there these days give cyclists a bad name and its no wonder people get shitty.

Yet another great weekend!

Well done everybody, you are true men (and woman) of steel, slogging through those two rounds in the wind and rain (+ Horton Park for the pre-champers). Hope Coolum isn't too wet for the really keen ones tomorrow.

Good to almost have a full game with Xray and to finally play with Pete the Pilot and golfer69. Great to have another hit with Rusty, Peter_RS and DaveS too.

I feel pretty happy to have beaten my last score off the blacks at PW by 6 points (OK so 23 last year wasn't too hard to beat)!

Congrats Oxy.

Thanks for the congrats.

A 40 on the first day did set it up with a few 4 pointers in amongst. I did keep those scores quiet. CobraSS was a great buggy partner.
Conditions today were rediculous. Used my driver only once off the tee which I subsequently wiped, go figure rest was 3 wood and five iron, just got me away and in play.

For those who care, I did play off 12.7 about 3 years ago and had other priorities so my golf took a back seat (one year off, no golf due first son born, never swung a club.) Started playing again last year and most of which part time at Brookwater GC was a 25 plus marker which was realistic. Only in the last 2 month since joining Wolston Park did my scores improve hence on the downward move to 23 for the Champs. Now playing every Saturday morning.

Had a great 3 days away, thanks for the memories.

Thanks to those who contributed to the punt on Saturday and the prizes for the win overall today.

All square on the tee for final hole with SMS - my 3 wood and I were very nervous.

Great to put a face to the name on the OZ golf forum throughout the weekend.

Talk soon, till next time and to defending the title in 2011 and most likely with a lower handicapp.

I had 32 and 25..solid stuff but no luck. I think I ran 27th.
I will say thaton the 18th tee SMS and Oxy were tied up. SMS had an olympic class gag and tripled it to Oxy's 6/2. I also learned later that Eagsy had hit the front with three to play but never actually realised this until the 18th tee when he was goneski (alledgedely).

On the 18th SMS sets up to tee off and the tree branch to our left decides to break off with a huge crack. Time to stick the hard hat on.
