Aftermarket Shaft for G10 Driver

G'day guys,

I am currently playing the G10 with stock stiff TFC129 & I am looking at upgrading the shaft as I love the club head itself, but feel I am 'outgrowing' the stock shaft.

My typical shot is a little too high & when I miss, it is into the left rough. One of my golfing buddies thinks it may be the whippy shaft that sends the ball up a bit high & left when I load up.

Just wondering if anyone has experimented with any different shafts in the G10? I heard the VS Proto shaft was a good combo? Any thoughts...

I am pretty sure the VS Proto is pretty spinny as well.

I'd book a lesson with a teaching pro to have a look at you hit the driver.

As is often the case, the cause may not be what you think. Even more so where the problem arises when loading up on a shot, with the most difficult club in the bag.
