I was reading our local newspaper this morning and there is a big write up (and a very handsome photo:wink:) of our very own BrettM.
Sea Temple superintendent BrettM took out the international catergory of the 2009 Environmental Leaders in Golf Awards. The awards are handed out by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America and the USA Golf Digest magazine.

Rigged or else he was the only one who nominated. Have you seen how many condoms and syringes are left in his bunkers.
Seriously though huge effort and the course reflects his attention to detail, even if it attracts geys.

Holy crap Batman.....Brett even has some fancy letters after his name. I never thought dealing in grass and dirt gave you some sort of fancy title.

Wow, huge wraps Brett. Fantastic news, and you deserve the award. I've played my fair share of courses but I reckon Sea Temple in the last 12 months is the best conditioned course I have ever played (no mean feat considering the climactic conditions).


Way to go Brett, best course in FNQ.
