I looked at this for five minutes, and I suspect it might be a show that has novelty value for about five minutes each week, and then the interest wanes.

For those who haven't seen it, essentially they wear beach volleyball style bikini's, and shoulder pads and helmets.

Somehow, they all appear to take it seriously, and some of the women appear to be pretty good athletes. According to Wikipedia, many of them are college athletes who didn't quite make the professional grade in basketball, softball or track/field sports.

Strangely enough they don't seem to have any players the size of some of those big defensive guys in the nfl! I wonder why???

The big guys are Offensive lineman usually. Defense tend to be a bit smaller as they need to be quicker (smaller being relatvie of course, many are over 300 pounds).
