I know I know - I said I would never sell this beast - but I am "forced" to sell this driver.

Tour 983 E 10.5* loft - reliable US source so this is definately not a retail head with no serial number - comes shafted with the super rare and super expensive PM (Phil Mickelson) 902X Proto Model Shaft (X-Stiff flex). Don't let the loft foll you into thinking this baby hits very high as it doesn't - nice penetrating trajectory with tonns of roll.

Looking for $350 plus shipping - very firm on price given that even pullout PM 902X Proto Shafts are pulling over $200 USD.

Terry I know mate but I have a 580XD Tour with a Diamana Shaft, plus I have an ERC Fusion FT2 coming so there is no room even for such a monster of a driver.

Anyone

dang it. You know I'd love it Jamie, but I got so little spare cash right now it's scary. Sorry. I'm sure some other lucky bugger will pick it up soon enough.

Hmmm lots of interest but no real bites

I dont really wanna put it on TSG or BSG because that means I have to ship overseas and I hate doing that as it is such a pain in the ass.

Come on - surely at $350 there is a buyer out there - there are retail 983 Es with stock shafts selling for more on ebay. Perhaps Ebay is the place to go for this one. I will give it to friday and if no one from ozgolf wants it then its goooorne.

Brisvegas have I told you that I offer very flexible payment plans

Go for it Andylo :P . You'll probably need something to keep your golfing needs going in HK. $350 is an amazing price. That's how much I paid for my retail 983K.

Why not, A-Ho? It just means the club will cost you $350, plus a box of balls for Kee.

Permission is one thing - but A-Ho, you just do not need this club. Look who is selling it, a long-time player, and low-marker.

Buy it if you must (i don't care about your 'promise'), but there are other clubs out there for blokes of our ability.

Andylo,

Whilst I would love to sell this club asap - I have to be upfront with you - with all due respect this club is a great club but dam hard to play unless you have a consistent strong swing - the shaft is heavy and stiff and whilst the shaft is the best shaft I have ever come across, it requires a certain ability and I honestly think that you need to be at least in single figures with a strong swing to even think about this club. I am not trying to put you off or disrespect your ability but I would hate for you to fork out $350 (cheap as it is) but then find out that the club is just not suited to you.

Having said all of the above you could also go and prove me wrong by buying it and absolutely bombing drives consistently with it.

Heehee nudge :)

Thanks for the advice :D It just the tour head and the PM shaft trigger my HO nerves again  I am too happy with my TP atm so I don't need a change :D It just a HO thing that I love to collect a certain stuff in golf if its rare. You would understand what I mean ;)

AndyLO,

It's you at the end of the day. Do you want it?

The $$$ is in your corner. Live for today, who knows what will happen tomorrow. 8)

Treat yourself, the gf can do without your creditcard for the weekend. That should cover the cost for the 983E

Andy,

Totally understand what you are saying - and like Trung said it is entirely up to you. The gf can live without the cc for a few days!!
