View Full Version : Haysey's House of Golf - Custom Wedge Grinds

Presenting the first version of Haysey's Custom Grinds, tentatively called the "Knife's Edge" grind. This custom grind has toe, heel & trailing edge relief, an a sharpened leading edge to really help you cut through thick, wet rough (so it'll spin like crazy ;)).
Not recommended for those who tend to thin the ball occasionally.
Safety Alert: indiscriminate use of a wedge with the "Knife's Edge" custom grind is severely hazardous to your health, especially your shins.

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "knifing the ball"
This was my first attempt at grinding a wedge. Fortunately Virge set me on the right path and subsequent attempts have been much better. Courty encouraged me to turn the leading edge into a knife:razz:

I like your work big guy. Was it as smooth as going through butter?

So buttery. It was like the ball was sticking to the blade:lol:
