I scored a golf trip to Portugal from my missus,
Golf's Dream 18s from our housemate, and
Planet Golf, Planet Golf USA and Grounds For Golf from my sisters.

Not a bad golf related haul!

Oh, and cash of my folks, which - let's face it - I will probably end up spending on golf!

I saw them still with tags on at my parents' place earlier this month, and said that will do as my present.

I got an Elmo driver cover. I think it's great, my 2 year old is a big Elmo fan.

But my heart dropped when I saw her squeeze Elmo's hand in hope that it would talk to her. I instantly felt compelled to buy her a talking Elmo of some description (it's her birthday on Tuesday), but unfortunately K-Mart don't have anything like it.

I put it on my FT-3 and she rode it around like a horsie, it was hilarious.

They are set up that way for buggies, provides better access to the clubs. Not so good if you drive cart though.

Turned up a bit after xmas, but the F6M2 was presented today and to my good fortune is 43 3/4 long instead of 42 as advertised. No extension needed, you ripper.

HUH.....with bag on buggy hood opens from front or on top if you prefer, not from underneath .
That way you got no protection if its raining and unless you remove it you cant even see half the clubs in the bag.

henno
29th December 2009, 03:41 PM
Ahh, then it's the reverse like my Sun Mountain. It's built for carts, but is shit on buggies. (Hood opens on top, and has a "reverse lean" on the club divider section. i.e. the clubs all lean back onto each other when on a buggy)

Jarro had a Sun Mountain once didn't he ? lasted less time than his Ping undies !

Jarro had a Sun Mountain once didn't he ?

Yep. It lasted about 5 minutes before it was sold to me (for the reasons mentioned above - "reverse pattern" on the top)

Daggs
29th December 2009, 05:00 PM
Nope.. dividers not reversed its a buggy baggy . And yes Henno the hood opens as if its for a cart bag. It sucks really coz the cool pockets a monster.

It was this bit that got me confused:

the hoods are all back to front
what you are describing is not what I'd call back to front but instead is the set up of most bags, zip is on the front facing upwards. Great for a cart, not ideal for a buggy though.
I've never used the supplied hoods though because I think in whatever configuration they are useless, except when I'm travelling.

Santa (aka the Boss aka the missus) gave me written permission (on an Xmas card) to buy a brand new set of irons and a putter.
And my cousin got me a priviledge membership to ignite golf at sopgolf centre as part of our secret santa thing we do each Christmas.
Not a bad Christmas. =)
