Well he kinda of has three quarters of one hand.

He lost the majority of his right hand in an accident 10 years ago.

On top of that he has also lost the tips of his left hand as well.

Plays off a handicap of 22.

The gadget (For the leather sock and Velcro) costs about $230 and the aluminium sleeve and plate is the original from when he first started back.

Well thats the beauty of golf isnt it, we can still play with one arm, one leg or no legs.

And whilst it seems that a amputee golfer could give himself some sort of advantage by using a prosthetic device specially designed, it hasnt happened yet. I only know of two good golfers, Douglas Bader who played for years off about 0-2 with no legs, and Geoff Nicholas the tiger woods of disabled golfers, who never really made it at professional tournament level.

Though you would think that one leg wouldnt be much of a disability for a golfer not that i have ever tried :-)

There is a bloke at my home club with only one arm that still plays weekly. He is also a very good sledger.
