Looking at the results from a mate playing comp yesterday and and winning score made my eyes boggle a little...

It certainly happens. I played with a guy once who had 51 points. It's just a once in a lifetime I guess.

I hope he doesn't need those 4 shots that he lost any time soon!

1 handicapper shot 45 points at my club yesterday.

That's a good paddle.

I shot something stupid once (bout 45ish i think) and left a few out there, but that was when i was starting out and the h'cap was inflated nicely. Don't think i'll ever slap it around for that many again.

my young bloke and i had 56 points in a 4bbb at Quirindi about 18 months ago. I had 45 points of 7 and he had 36 points of 14. might add it was the last time I played decent

no. about 5 or 6 rounds under par. best was 69 on a par 72 at Merriwa(sand greens) and i am pretty sure I hve done a 69 or 70 at Quirindi (3 1 days old track!)

probably never do it again going on current form

Had a 110points in a multipler a few years back, my mate wiped 1 hole on the front and i wiped 1 on the back so it was only 16 scoring holes :D

He isn't adjusting to his new hcp too well. I think any mid cap player who is on the improve can easily score high 40pts when things click reasonably well.
The same off low singles is what is really impressive cause it is then an impressive display of golf by any standards.

I had 46 points off 5 last week (5 under 67) and managed to squeeze out a 1 under 71 for 41 points today. PErsonally the best I have seen is 51 points

I Once shot (about 15yrs ago!) 51 points at CastleCove off 12, 61 off the stick.... Was not unlike the priest in caddy shack's round too, at one stage was actually hard up against a tree on the seventh (dead!) so I leant around the stump and proceeded to manage a grubber chip that went in for one of 6 birdies... The round included a double and a single... Funnily enough was my best round ever until a few weeks ago when I shot 68 at Long Reef.
