Surely it hasn't always been this colour. Is this some sort of a piss take, or have I missed this previously? Wasn't the background always white?

No. Always OZgolf green.
Orange would be much better though.

Did you know that TVs come in colour now too?

Errrrr......ready for it.....Just went to a Mac. But I just adjusted the tilt of the screen a little and it's not as bad.
