FYI, anyone interested in this phone, I have had a discussion with my mate who has worked at Telstra for the past 5 years.

If you plan to use the phone on Vodafone/Optus, you will probably not need to unlock this phone. It will work. The only Telstra phones that have to be unlocked are pre paid.

The only reason I am not jumping on this deal is that the only problem network is Three, and that is the network I am on.

I have told Zig to follow it up with Telstra, but my mate has worked in this very field for years, so he should know his stuff.
