Very strange they won't ship some apparel internationally. Golfsmith are renowned for following the international shipping rules from their suppliers.

It is probably a legal requirement of their distribution arrangements with the brands. The Australian distributors would bitch otherwise and probably sue, and Golfsmiths are too big a target.

It's actually that if the date in the shopping cart is not TODAY'S date, then those closeout items have been sent from the central warehouse across to individual Golfsmith stores to be sold from the floor !!!

So no today's date then no items to ship (and delete from cart...repeat until lucky enough to jag an item of clothing!!)

Bergsey, the problem there is the date is 9th Dec and it says 'Store Pickup'...

...you will not get it sent on an int'l order. They will likely email you and say it was unavailable and will delete it from your order !!!

We'll see what happens, depends on what you order, just tried my order again and came up ships on the 7th, no problems (Adidas shoes, Nike shirts). When i add Adidas shirts in they specifically come up with ships on the 9th and cannot ship internationally. I think they are the ones on close out.

My order is on the way to Perth (currently in Alaska!). Golfsmith were reasonable to deal with, just charged to my credit card and didn't ask for any additional identification.

TGW has kicked off a new sale as well for those that are interested, 15% off apparel, shoes and some clubs.
