Hi all,
I am thinking of upgrading the shaft in my R9 420cc. I currently have the stock Fuji Motore in stiff flex.
I'm not 100% sure of my swing speed but I hit the ball consistently about 260-280 meters on a flat fairway and a windless day.
I am happy with length BUT I hit the ball REALLY high with a bit of a fade, meaning that on a windy day I am stuffed. The height comes from me dropping my shoulder a bit on the take down; however, I find it hard to change this so I am looking for a shaft that will keep my ball lower and minimize the fade/slice tendencies.
Would a heavier/stiffer shaft with a lower launch angle do the trick?
