I am pretty sure I used zedge.net on my last phone. From memory you need to register to download, but it is all free and no strings attached. That was a year or so ago though.

I edited Blink 182's "Miss You", and used the line "Where are You?" to make an MP3 ring tone.

Main ringtone is Living Colors 'What's your favourite color baby' which starts with a scream and scares the shit out of people.
Ringtone for my band mates is Living Colors 'Which way to america', mostly for the bass heavy start.
SMS tone is from Living Colors 'Elvis is dead', the famous sound bite 'Elvis has left the building'.
Clikchic's tone is 'I'm too sexy', the pussycat'ish area.
Two other ringtones used are Living Colors (bit of a theme running here) 'Cult of Personality' and from the True Lies soundtrack their version of 'Sunshine of your Love'.
My calendar reminder alert is Aerosmiths 'Crying', about 15secs from the start.

All ringtones edited down to 30secs and specific sections using Audacity. Great little program and why would you bother paying for a ringtone??

I imported a clip on Audacity goughy but when I play it seems really fast and unrecognisable. Any tips for an Audacity newb please?
