I have a Ping putter head winging its way from the US and need to find a new or used putter shaft to plonk in it. Show me what you got ie. shaft length, type and how much you want, I do have a few things to trade as well.

A wedge shaft is a fine alternative. The shaft on a putter doesn't have much of an impact as you don't really 'swing' a putter.

Thanks Ben, I was hoping that would be the case as I have a DG wedge shaft spare. I have asked around the likes of virge, tomson and tourfit but no reply as yet.

Has the previous shaft been fully removed including the ball bearing ?

Dad used on the other night on a putter and it felt really good. But I can't putt so I don't know if it was me or the shaft.

Yes it has but it is still in transit.

Ping install their putter shafts by ramming a ball bearing down the shaft to make the shaft tip expand and create a mechanical bond with the hosel (Karsten was an engineer so I guess it was his idea). This makes shafts very hard to remove.
