The 79s is tipped 3/4 (1/2 for the BBGM and 1/4 to stiffen) if that helps ;)

The 7Z08 is just a teeny bit too much profile with low torque for me. The WB73 was too. The BB73, F7M2 (same profile as 7Z08 but friendlier torque), they suit me great. I'm going to try a 6Z08 down the track, reckon it will be perfect. The other i am after eventually is the Kai"li 70.

The 7Z08 is as anti left and low spin as the WB. Great shaft.

It's an absolute top shelf kick arse shaft. I've got no qualms at all going for a 6Z down the track.

I'm not sure myself, but don't be scared to extend if needed. It's not much drama at all.

Hi,

If you have the right equipment, the FT Callaway series including FT-9 is no drama to remove shaft.

I even was able to re-install a shaft that was previously extracted as the face developed a flaw, the FT-9 was sent back to Callaway and was replaced as a warranty claim.

As I use minimal heat, the original FT-9 ferrule adapter was undamaged and after cleaning up ferrule adapter and FT-9 head, was epoxied into head and Callaway didn't query.

I've done about 15 FT series shaft extractions in the last 6 months with no issues.

Cheerz :) :D ;)
