I made up some Yardage books for Pelican waters.
They will be available on the day for $1, money to the Treadwell chicks, the young cute blonde ones not the chubby old one.

They are in colour, and the right page order.

if you want to print them out yourself you will have to email me, at my username @gmail.com, the PDF document is 800kb, and is formatted for two sided print, so when you cut it up, the pages are in the correct order, mind you it still costs you $1 to the little blondes.

I've got one from the official opening weekend of the course, and I don't think they are out of date.

Since they don't have GPS anymore, these could be very handy for some OZgolfers.

Nice work Blakey. At $1 each we should be looking at one in each cart (thats $24 for 48 punters, only 50c each).

The course was not mapped on mScorecard so I have done it up via Google Maps. I don't know how accurate it will be though. Put me down for one also MTB.

nice one Mark. I'll have one thanks.

Pretty sure I've got an original yardage book somewhere, but for $1 I couldn't be bothered looking.

goughy - fwiw, Brookwater is ditching it's GPS setups shortly too. The cost of maintaining what is now an old system is not justifiable. The entire course is being re-measured and new distance markers are being installed with yardages to the front edge of greens. The pro shop will give players pin sheets when they play, much the same as for pro tourneys.

Much better idea IMO. I played Brookie after heavy rain and the carts weren't allowed on the fairways. Made the GPS units pretty redundant other than for tee shots.

Worth mentioning that my yardage book has the distances in yards but the course measurements are in metres. The conversion for metres to yards is to add 10% - 50 metres = 55 yds, 190 metres = 209 yds.

Does this have measurements for points off the fairway for choppers like Henno and me?

Is this fair assistance....I'm surprised MTB is proposing them - shouldn't they be banned like GPS's? :-)

However I'll take one since the money if for the right reason.

From Leah, the kids are wrapped to have a job to do!

Thank you so much! I just told them and they are stoked! I don't mind the money going to whoever really should be getting it but they feel very important!!

The kids have been educated with "no money no book" :-) so no IOUs. you just cant go ripping off little blondes

they are definitely unfair for blokes who cant read, like little numbers and rule books.

I could have done that but took me two hours alone to do 30 tonight. In between getting a Msql server running - so many distractions, i havent even packed yet

They weren't there in June this year, but I'm pretty sure that they were there in June 08.

They removed em for the same reason Brookwater is. Also I believe Pelican is on the market.

24 carts will going around I think - so you will need at least that many.
