MX700 is a bloody cheat stick. If I wasn't a 07 Burner man, they would be hard to go past at 3balls prices. The A7 looks awesome, I agree, but the $35-50 shipping is the killer.

Yep, 22-23 will be the right loft. The MX700 hits pretty high, so should go a fairly good distance for you.

I carry the 22 hybrid and the 4 iron.

The 4 iron comes out for low punch shots or when I need to hit an exact distance (usually 170m). Anything from 171-185m is now the job of the 22*.

You're NOT going to believe this...

Every time I am adding items to the cart the Shipping Method starts out with Fedex Int'l Priority etc etc...when more is added that shipping option disappears. When I get to the end of the order and go to checkout it tells me to choose shipping method, but doesn't give me any shipping options AT ALL !!!!!

I cannot get past the first stage of checkout !!!

ARGH...the longer it goes the more likely we are to lose certain item availability. As it stands the ONLY item not available from the orders is JC's Gretsky 3W cover (and that hardly counts !! :mrgreen:)

Put it through BEFORE I logged on as a customer and used the Domestic shipping options...then when I logged on it showed NO international shipping options. So I checked out with 8.95 Ground Shipping !!!

I'm sure when the order is processed then the shipping amount will be seen on the email confirmation. They only use Fedex anyway. I'll keep an eye on the numbers, and use the tracking to let you know through this thread.

Thanks mate. Worst case scenario is if the shoes are too narrow, I'll eBay them and make some coin. Bloody Footjoy are so inconsistent with their widths. They only sell wide in Australia, but the ones that I currently have are so wide that when I pull the laces, the two sides of the shoe meet in the middle! The Syner-G's I tried on in wide were OK. Meh.

Went to Golfbox this morning to try a few shoes on and also try some Adidas shirts on for size.....glad to say the Large fit great, not too baggy at all, quite comfortable actually. Looking forward to getting the gear now.

Also tried the current Adidas Tour 360 3.0 on today....didn't like them that much, look the goods but the insole had a really high in step under the arch of my foot which just felt too much......anyone else try these on before? Maybe my feet are too flat for these.

Gear collected. Still cannot believe the prices. The Ashworth shorts look so much nicer in the flesh than they did on the website.

The Adidas compression shirts are great. A bit warmer than the Skins unfortunately, but the seem to fit better.

Did NEITHER pair fit MW??? That's a pity......my Adidas didn't fit either. But I emailed him and he's gonna send me a smaller pair. I just send them back at my expense and pay for the return freight as well ($14)...still works out at $120 cheaper than GolfBox !!!


BTW, I received an email from 3 Balls regarding the erroneous invoice amount that led to the $286 Customs Duty/GST bill I received from Fedex (and had to pay to get the package cleared and delivered). The problem was that the goods value didn't take into account THE DISCOUNTS WE GOT !! (Which was $114 total). That's why the shipping documentation had a value of $940!! The Customs/GST limit is based on WHAT I PAID, and not what the goods are at full price before discounts...

According to Fedex, who I rang straight away, I have a case for dispute and refund...all I have to do is supply the 'new' invoice showing the correct total (that I paid), plus my credit card statement and all will be refunded (apparently). Will take between 4-6 weeks !!! NICE.
