heck, back from hong kong this evening, touch of SARS spoiling my bourbon and cigars evening and sock washing....

Can i get an expigated version of "wha happen"...

man, u go get married on a loch in scotland then booze your way across belgium, luxembourg and france and your suburb gets a new ironing shop, almost get evicted due to a long lawn, cat breaks it's tail and the car is knackered....and then all your mates have started a new forum?

the SARS i can handle!

'Splain! :D

when do u need the search engine submission done by ;) meta tags sweet?

according to what i have read, Google ignores metatags ?

macleod
24th May 2004, 09:32 PM
yeah, they base their ranking algorithm on how many pages point to your one primarily and then some other stuff including the paid-fors.....but there still are other engines...well somewhere, just not on my radar anymore :D

so, what else i miss...who won the masters?

Absolute Legend! can't find that thread info on the other site, darn but i like a good read when this stuff happens....

i found the story though, suberb work, i like that course a lot, even the "green apple splatter" farm neighbouring it ;)

ok,
nudgee's got the r7 and jarro's next in line?,
ap won the mcleod ladies provisional cup and a new job?
andy got a HIO as well
everyone needs a 3 wood, me included..
onewood spread the love throughout the 'other site' (like not mentioning MacBeth to theatrical types eh?) :D
the gough family stone created a new mothership that looks suberb, tastes great and is less filling...
golfer69 made a reappearance on course with his 5 wood of doom
i got hitched and still found time to score a birdie in scotland
bush's factional support from the hawks in the republican party has gone unwavered however his latest polls indicate a tough fight against kerry, regardless of the primaries
nietzsche promclaimed god is dead echoing the texts of zarasthrusta....
the president of uganda is HIV positive (you heard it first here on ozgolf)
anything i missed? 8)

Welcome back Scott! Or should I say, Mr Ferarri..... 8) 8)

Looking forward to catching up with you again soon. I think you'll like this protected little enclave the mountain men have built. It's warm and friendly and everyone gets on.....

There have been no 3000 word posts about the merits of bunker face construction methodology to the aesthetics of a non-links ocean front layout here yet either.... Thank God!

Glad you found us! Was it the email bread crumb trail I left you??? Congrats on the wedding! When do we see the pics??

Congrats Mac.
Word of advice from another newlywed - don't wear the wedding band on the course, it makes bizarre cosmic changes to your swing. I did for the first time last weekend for near-fatal results.

(Note: 'fatal' because by the end of the day i wanted to impale myself (or someone else) on the 18th flag)

I was smiling, as you've noted. Though i think most emotionally unstable murderers probably smile as they pack their victims bodies into suitcases etc.. :?

Word of advice from another newlywed - don't wear the wedding band on the course,

doesnt make any difference whether you leave the wedding ring on or take it off. once it has been placed there the effects are permanent, and your golf suffers terminally.

the official ones were pretty good, but too many "casual" before shots for my liking. we couldn't afford too many.

unf my digital camera in the hands of other people was a bit crappy but here's some stuff!

kev, clear day but with wind chill factor only about 5 degrees out there. i had three layers on plus thermals and still not enough!

jast, that's no namebrand wood! :D an old steel headed 11* pro tour something with a steel shaft. and blow me if i didn't whack it long and straight all day! had a nice wood 70's spoon too!

the course was Carrbridge GC in the Cairngorm Mountains district, 13 quid to play, 3.50 for club hire and a bloody pound per ball for lakies!

nice little place, i simply couldn't afford anything more due to the excchange rates but well worth it after the wedding. went up the mountains that arvo and got snowed on for the first time in my life...sweeeet day. :D
