Looking for a new bag.

Would like lots of useable pockets, maybe a chiller pocket?

14 full length dividers. Are the lock tops much chop?

good color choice

Easy to get on rain covers, and reasonably waterproof pockets.

other bells and whistles??

Price, not sure, open to most i would say, but a cheap bag with lots of good stuff, i wouldn't turn my nose up at.

What are staff bags like these days?

Suggestions??????

Callaway Forrester cart bag. You can't go wrong.

I've said it before & I'll say it again. Nike Sasquatch Tour stand bag.

It has full length dividers, rain hood, plenty of pockets, and convenience of a stand/ carry bag.

both those look like nice bags, i like the idea of carry and cart bag in the sasquatch

The sasquatch does look like a good bag. I am loving my OGIO edge atm, have not used it on a cart yet but think it will go well.

Anything that sits well on a cart and you can carry is a good IMO.

I had an OGIO Edge, but ditched it in favour of the Nike.

Eagles & Birdies Cart Bag I have is pretty good, with good dividers, chill pocket etc. Could probably use a few extra bits'n'pieces pockets, but otherwise excellent.

I have never understood the logic of paying out all that money for the privilege of advertising their brand. They should be discounting the bags heavily for that - Its obnoxious.

dopey brand whores - if only you would boycott 'em then the prices would drop like crazy. :-)

if you want good looking staff bags JDM bags are the best looking and well equiped in my opinion.

The forrester doesn't have a big ball pocket, unless you use the esky pocket. Didn't really suit what I was after, nice bag though. The Burton Hybrids look nice. The Cobra bags are great, even if you pay for the branding :D

THere is quite often Coca Cola bags on ebay for around $40. They always seem to be new, so someone must have had a lot of them in storage somewhere.

I would love a Collingwood FC one, but i don't think i would be willing to pay the price.

So out of the bags mentioned, i like the sasquatch the best, anymore?

Zigwah, the AFL bags are just PGF standard ones with a logo embroided on the removable flap. you could make one yourself. Just buy a plain bag and cover it with stickers - works with riced up cars!

I'm waiting for the Rocco Siffredi 10" Tour bag to be released.

I hear he has a unique locking-system designed into the bag.

I've noticed they're referring to the bags as "Caddie Cart Bags" when they appear to be staff bags. Something to think about if any of the members are looking for a cart bag not a staff bag.

This one definitely appears to be a cart bag. http://www.progolfjapan.com/28008_000738/ It's got my vote thus far.

The term 'staff' or 'tour' bags crack me up.
There was a time when we just called them Golf Bags, well i suppose we had two types, round and square bags.

It is as if some idiot in a marketing dept, has thought of the name "Staff Bags" as if only sponsored tour players use them, or implying that.

I'm definitely loading up on gear later next year when I go to Japan for a while. Those bags look the biz.

Staff bags should just be called "Big f&%#ing bags with not enough pockets or dividers".

Hamo84
2nd October 2009, 10:43 AM
Thing with mine is that I reckon that it has the size of a staff bag (massive pockets and just sheer size of the bag is as big as some other staff bags, but I got one with 14 dividers as they it what I wanted.
