Now that Symond is the offically the best one day player(in the world) over the last 12 months, maybe just maybe some of you can show a little respect towards the guy, that he deserves.

All hail the King of ODI's

That's some seriously flawed logic. Why can't the best ODI player in the world play for a losing side?
By that logic, Brian Lara is an ordinary player because he is an ordinary side.

I just can't.

Apart from the finals of the ICC games, we just didn't play anyone of note. Beating up on Zimbabwe and the US? He had a good tour of Sri Lanka but that seems a lifetime ago on current form.

Considering the Clarke won with just 4 months in the test team indicates that the AB medal is not weighted towards tests heavily enough.

Well well well, looks like the ("worlds best one day player") bails the team out again ! =D>
Its getting monotonous. 8)
I was waiting for it.
But I think many failures outweighs one 91. Let's see if he backs it up.
BTW the team has hardly been saved, still looks like they will be posting a crap total.

Who votes for these awards ? Is there a selection panel or do the players vote or is it a public vote ?

Why can't he be like all the other bowlers like...say Casper and have one bad game out of every 5 or 6.

Not every other game like....Mr. does my hair look good...

You're right, Kasper had one bad over. Unlike Mr Consistencey (Lee) who goes for an average of 5 an over all the time......
