Does purchasing iron covers make you gay?

I am thinking about buying iron covers for my blades so they dont go "chatter clunk chatter" as i pull my buggy through the rough and wreck my irons any annoy everyone around me at the same.
Should i buy them and be put up with mates calling me names like "homo" and "gaylord" or listen to my dickhead mates.

I'm using iron covers, don't want to scratch the paint on the new shovels. Using head covers can be fun especially when you mistake the 6-iron for the 9-iron and send the ball 30 metres over the green. Done that once or twice :lol:. I didn't feel too gay at the time. It can also be fun switching your oppenent's iron covers around before the game, brings a whole new dimension into sportman's ship (although I have never done it ,the temptation is there).

Old Man River started yesterday's round with an umbrella in a holder on his buggy (similar to what you generally see from asian ladies), as well as with a pink ball.

Have been using iron covers on my blades for years to prevent bag chatter in my carry bag. I don't use sunscreen, use a DGX200 2 iron, 6.5 rifles in my blades and X-flex shafts in my 1 and 3 woods.
So which of you hybrid-wielding, cavity-backed 'ladies' think the use of iron covers is ghey? Have not seen one valid reason ad to why we shouldn't.

Trying to hide the gheyness of iron covers with the use of manly club is a big sacrifice to make.

I've got iron covers because,

a). My irons are expensive and new and I want to keep them in as good a condition as possible

b). I'm not a fan of the clanging noise.

Iron Covers (and Headcovers!) are a PITA in wet, windy conditions we discovered at Pelican! But so was the clanging when we took them off! If someone could invent a grip cover that keeps grips dry they would probably be on a winner I reckon! And ball scoops were mostly useless unless they were at least 20' long!
