Dunno why they play test matches over there. Pointless.

The girlfriend, she likes rugby, good girl that she is:mrgreen:

It is usually pretty packed, we do need a better stadium though.

And what MW said. Bloody yarpies at cricket today were chirping something cruel.

Yea you do. More point playing a SA test there than any rugby in Helbourne.

Which box you score a ticket in?

Box 38, the coke box. Should be a good view from there I think.

Rugby is like golf.

Love the game - but **** me I am sick of losing.

Rugby is really struggling in Oz at the moment and serving up slop like that isn't going to help things !

The game wasn't slop. The Wallabies are way too inconsistant for a team that should be challenging. Springboks are very strong at the moment.

Agreed - good game if you were a Yarpie.

It was an ok game, but **** me if Perth is not a mini joburg. So many yarpies.

We were too static, when we had the ball the backs were not running.

SA were dynamic, really switched on, set up well.

Australia can take a bit out of this game, the second half was quite good.

Just a really sloppy try in the first half, you could have driven a ****ing truck throught that gap, and a bit of luck for the third try, bloody habana.

Awesome seats though.

Yea I should qualify that, the wallabies played pretty crap. Particularly handling early on. Rugby does need to do something to kick the stupid Northern Hemisphere wallies out of their slumber and get the ELVs into the game. Also bring back going off your feet and rucking to open the field up a bit. Let those on the wrong side of the ball fear retribution!

I was talking about the Aussies performance, not the overall game.

The Springboks are a fantastic team at the moment, but it looks like the Wallabies have forgotten to do the basics of the game.

You have to wonder how long the ARU can justify the high ticket prices to test matches when the national team keep failing to deliver. A lot of lifetime rugby supporters that I know are refusing to go to games these days due to the high prices and poor performances being delivered.

Agreed, we had a small failure to communicate.

Mind you, being a Reds member I am used to it!

I think part of the issue is concentrating on the world cups gives them the rebuilding excuse.

Couldn't agree more - and I am a die hard rugby fan. As a product, Rugby has a lot of improvement to achieve somehow.

Especially when the local team are so bad and comptetion for the odd shaped ball is so varied at more entertaining.

Hah. Try living up here!

I think the worst thing is the different rules at the Super 14 and test level.

Ditto. (You saved me a lot of typing Pete. Well said.)
