My 13 year old daughter just asked me "if there was a reason he wont teach rock and roll"
I replied "huh" becasue when I listened it was AC/DC High Voltage
eg "High...Voltage rock and roll" but she heard "I.....wont teach rock and roll"
Made us laugh and I wondered if any of my fellow golfing tragics had any other examples?

When I was an 8 year old, I thought Dirty Deeds "Done Dirt Cheap" was about a "Thunder Jeep".
It sounded really cool.

'Dirt Deeds, Thunder Jeep' still doesn't make any sense!
BTW, I know I'm stoopid now...don't have to remind me. That happens with age apparently.
Was a super smart 8 year old tho...

Why is this in the sports bar??
On the end of a live pearl jam cd, eddie vedder tells the audience that mike mccready used to think KISS's rock n roll all night went
"I wanna rock and roll all night... And part of every day"

That also happened in a Dharma and Greg episode.

You watch Dharma and Greg?
I used to when I was 15/16 or however old when it was first on. A chick from school was into it and made it worth my while to come over and watch it with her.

There was a Rod Stewart hit in the 70s, originally a Cat Stevens song. A dipshit at school swore he thought it was the first XXXX was the deepest.

My kids thought the Rocky song "Eye of the Tiger" was "I ate the bible"?????:?
I told them the correct lyrics, but heard them a few days later still singing it incorrectly, with the added lyric - "it tasted like Jesus".:-s

Worst excuse ever! Besides - that show was a poor mans Ned & Stacey (still gold today!).

Ned and Stacy is the king of "HIS NAME and HER NAME" shows (ie, Dharma and Greg - which wasn't bad, Will and Grace).
Thomas Hayden Church is the king, and I also really like the chick who played Stacy's sister - Amanda.
