Was watching it live this morning. It seemed like every 8 minutes they'd have 4 minutes of ads. Definitely more ads than when it's broadcast through Fox.

 I'm sure he doesn't take that swing to the course. Fun to watch though.

Funny thing is that he does Raz. Jamie plays off scratch and that is his swing on course aswell.

The commentators at Warwick Hills last week were talking about him being 70 yards longer off the tee than Tiger.

Yeah but tiger is a short hitter. ;)

WTF.. The length of those drives is bullshit!

If you cant play to scratch with that length there is something wrong..

You see MT most of those guys don't even play golf. All they do is Long Drive.

Sadlowski is one of the rare exceptions.

How bad is One HD? About a 2 second delay here between vision and sound.

Yep. Was pretty bad. Like a spaghetti western but with golf clubs.

Is it like that every time they have golf. This morning was the first time I had watched it on One.

This morning was the first time I noticed it. It'll be interesting to see if they leave it like that for a replay.

I saw Aaron Davison hit some demonstration drives in 2003 at the driving range opposite Carrara stadium. The back fence is about 270 metres from the teeing area and the fence was at least 10 feet high. Some of his drives were still climbing as they cleared the fence. Pretty awesome to watch.

yeah - and where did Thursday US commentry go to . . . I don't mind Frank but we need the on course commentary back. Jay shits me to tears.

I am guessing we get CBS coverage back tomorrow . . with a golf channel 2 hour primer.

Geez I hope so... Love the HD though - it is a nice change from SD Foxtel

Technically for a LD - you cannot get much better.

His initial startdown is my favourite. The core strength required for that is ... well ... you may as well be made of concrete from the shoulders to the flute.

I noticed on the telecast there was an Aussie or Kiwi co-commentator but I didn't recognise his voice. I think I heard him being referred to as 'Craig'.

Does anyone know who he is?

Edit 1: Answer found -> Kiwi - Craig Perks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Perks

Does anyone know the reason why we did not have the CBS coverage ?

It seems stupid to have 2 guys mumbling in a booth instead of the 8-9 people you get from CBS. It was fine on Thursday - then we switched to the world feed.

No idea why - lets not do that again . . .
