I have a D&B Control-a-Door 4 that stops at random places as it goes up. Some days it works fine some day it'll drive me nuts.
I want to find out how to retention the springs.
Anyone done this before? Will it help?

I had an old Gliderol roller-door, and the previous owner said to spray the vertical runners with Mr Sheen, every six months.
I've got a B&D Panel-Lift now, and not a problem. (Other than safety switch cutting in, when a lump of wood is left on the ground.)
Parents have two 20yo B&D Panel-Lifts, and had a problem with a sensor/computer 'forgetting' where the top and bottom were. (A callout from Mr B&D sorted it out with the magic screwdriver.)
