Adams XTD fairway V's Mizuno F-50 3 woods

I currently use a Mizuno MX500 driver (love it)
my hybrids are Adams A3 (love'em)

My 3 wood is a Cleveland XL (over it!)

My question is should i try the Mizuno F-50 or the Adams XTD A3?

Would love to be able to demo them but obviously they aren't in any shops any more so I'm looking for you lots wise opinions!! God help me!!:lol:

I use the MX500 as well an F50 15 degree 3 wood & love both especially after re-shafting with some Virge specials. I can't compare to the XTD but I think if you love the 500 you'll also love the 50.

I've used the F50 before, was a great wood off the tee (long and straight) but found it difficult to hit from the fairway. It just had the stock shaft in it.

I'd suggest sticking with the Hibore XL - awaesome 3 wood and so simple to hit - but make sure you ditch the stock shaft.

Yeah, I guess you'll have to consider how you'll use it. I only ever hit mine off the tee & use 5 wood or 3 hybrid for long shots from the fairway. F50 gives a nice CLUNK instead of a CLANK though.

looking at it i use my 3 wood up to 6 times from the tee
and 6-7 times from the deck. All depending on wind & direction and tee positions.

So looking for something that is good from deck and tee.

Don't really like to feel or sound from the Hibore and feel it is a fairly small head at address.
Leaning towards the adams as it is a larger head and meant to be very good off the deck and tee.

I had one of those Adams creations Simmsy and the BUL was a better stick by far. Sorry bud!

The MX700 FW's are meant to be the ducks nuts mate. Demo one at Golfbox and buy one off the bay, there are a few from the US at the moment.

I notice you dsaid Hibore... I was meaning the Hibore XLS... it is by far the best 3 wood I have had, a nice big head for the tee and so bloody easy to hit off the deck as well.

Highly recommend you trial it at least.

I have read some extremely positive things about the new Mizzies.

The 700 looked amazing in the flesh. If I wasn't in love with the BUL I would have been all over a demo.
